This Bosch electric hedge trimmer is one of the larger capacity hedge trimmer on the market. It is designed to take on some pretty large hedges and rival some of the petrol models that are available. The long blade length and wide gap between the teeth will allow it to cut through some thicker bits of growth. Powered from the mains by a cable this has a motor that is capable of running for long periods of time.
As well as the large cutting capacity the AHS 70-34 has a cutting function which will allow you to saw though even thicker branches that are too big for the teeth. The ergonomic design and well situated handles make it easy to move around and get into awkward places whilst cutting.
This is a great all round hedge cutter that is well priced, there are cheaper models available but not many that have this size and power. If you are looking for something powerful but don’t want to step up to a petrol hedge cutter then this is a good option to think about.

The AHS 45-16 is a light weight hedge trimmer that is very popular for domestic users. It is simple to use and very good value for money. This is designed to keep small hedges around your home regularly trimmed. If you are looking for something to tackle some large hedge cutting tasks then this is not going to be for you.
